Barwon Valley Bash

On March 18th, 2023, the Geelong Disc Golf Club hosted the much-anticipated ‘Barwon Valley Bash’ tournament, a thrilling event tailored for newer players aiming to spread the joy of disc golf across Geelong.

Despite the challenging gusts, 38 players came together for a fantastic day of sport and camaraderie.

Ryan Hart showcased his skills, claiming the top spot in the men’s division, demonstrating his prowess and dedication to the sport. In the women’s division, Georgia Carroll emerged as the standout performer, displaying her determination and talent.

The success of the ‘Barwon Valley Bash’ underlines our commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. It’s events like these that help us introduce more people to the exciting world of disc golf and grow our Geelong Disc Golf Club family.
